THE 16th BELFAST BLUES FESTIVAL

Keeping our great city’s musical heritage alive, the festival will once again put on more than fifty free gigs in venues across the Cathedral Quarter and surrounding area, there is most certainly something for everyone's musical taste both young and old. From great local bands, touring acts and international artists, this year's festival is definitely a must see event. With our great venues and public houses, restaurants and coffee bars, set right in the middle of the Cathedral Quarter and surrounding area this most certainly is a great musical recipe for a cracking weekend.

CARING BREAKS

We are pleased to announce that this years Festival Charity is ‘Caring Breaks’.
Caring Breaks was formed in 1999 to address the shortage in respite options for those caring for adults with a learning disability.

The service has grown and developed over the years and is now a very well respected and professional organisation in the field of respite provision in Northern Ireland.

AIDEN PRYOR

Aiden is well known for his powerful and engaging performances leaving his fans both excited and mesmerised. Having played throughout the UK, Europe and Ireland as a power trio Aiden is often likened to one of his heroes Rory Gallagher implementing a similar approach to the guitar with fierce passion and an energy like no other. Guitar riffs, catchy hooks, intense lead and great lyrics combine to give you something special and will leave you wanting more!
